Another cool Russian designer, who takes physical arrangements of blocks and creates his own typeface.  “Deconstruct” is also available on Handmade Font, a resource for non-keyable typefaces for purchase.  Check out more of his awesome work!

WOLFF OLINS REDESIGNS BRAND & LOGO FOR ASIAN ART MUSEUM
As one of the largest museums in the western world, but with a debt of $120 Million, the historical museum was in need of a makeover and more importantly a new direction. Originally part of the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum in Golden Gate Park San Fran, it later went on to become one of the largest museums housing more than 17,000 art pieces solely dedicated to the asian arts. But after losing its luster, direction and proper perspective, the museum reached out to reknow brand consultancy Wolff Olins.
Wolff Olins approached the project with the goal to evoke and emphasize the new perspective and vision the museum was taking, thus creating an upside down “A” that served as a gateway / window to the different elements involved with the museum.
“Its graphic, upside down A mark, accompanied by the word “Asian,” also  communicates the museum’s desire to engage all: in mathematics, an  upside down A denotes ‘for all.’”

MAXIMILISM + CLASSIC OLD EURO ELEMENTS AT THEIR BEST
When you make pizza the old world traditional way, it requires a design that is not only classic but feels hands on as well. Designed by the portfolio center, the type and design is old Napoli inspired, keeping the feel of tradition and authentic atmosphere. Even the ingredients used are sometimes limited to the Campania region of Southern Italy - this place is  true “Pizza Tradizionale di Napli” served in Atlanta, Georgia.

AMY’S KITCHEN ORGANIC FROZEN FOODS REDUX

We have honestly been some big fans of this stuff for years, they have been one of the best frozen foods at Whole Foods that you can find. Wholesome, filling, and genuinely great. As designers we always felt that the packaging was cheesy… it had this retro feel with their horrible pics, and just awful design layout and narrative. HONEY CREATIVE recently created a new package design overhaul, two words come to mind… ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The new designs truly carry over the historical narrative of the ompany, but also the narrative of the company’s demographic and intent. These are great quality organic foods, so the new layout and elements really evoke the hands on, pure, and organic look and feel.

Go to your local WHOLE FOODS and pick up some AMY’S and take some time to admire the new design, but most of all admire the taste :)
